About Michelle

Michelle holds dual qualifications as an ‘Accredited Practising Dietitian’ with the Dietitians Association of Australia and as a ‘Registered Dietitian’ with the American Dietetics Association.

She has considerable experience working in a variety of nutrition fields both in Australia and in the USA..

While previously living in the USA, Michelle worked

as a Community Dietitian promoting nutritional education for woman, infants and children. She spent additional time in the public health sector working in specialty cardio-vascular, oncology and diabetes clinics.
Since moving to Australia in 2007, Michelle initially worked as an outpatient dietitian at one of Sydney’s private nutrition clinics. She was responsible for the nutritional assessment and counselling of patients from varying ages and backgrounds across all aspects of nutritional education, with a specific focus on weight management.

Michelle currently works part time as the staff dietitian for the eating disorders unit at one of Australia’s leading psychiatric hospitals. She also operates her private clinic part time to coincide with her work at the clinic.
